Eastern Washington University selects StatBroadcast for 2012-13

CHENEY, WASH. -- Eastern Washington University has joined the growing list of StatBroadcast clients, reaching agreement today to use the StatBroadcast Live platform to deliver live statistics feeds throughout the 2012-13 academic year for the school's home athletic events.

Eastern Washington University is a public university located in Cheney, Washington with an enrollment of over 12,000. EWU was founded in 1882 as the Benjamin Cheney Academy and in 1977 was renamed to Eastern Washington University by the state legislature. The Eastern Washington Eagles compete at the NCAA Division-I level as a member of the Big Sky Conference. The school sponsors 12 varsity sports, including football at the FCS subdivision. In 2010, the Eagles won the NCAA Division I FCS National Championship, marking the school's first national title at the Division-I level in any sport since becoming a member in 1983.

Eastern Washington is a member of the Big Sky Conference, who also partners with StatBroadcast for its conference championships. Northern Arizona, Portland State and Weber State are also current partners of StatBroadcast who are members of the Big Sky Conference as well.
